RETURN POLICY

Hair Port Salon proudly stands behind all of the products we provide.  Our intent is for each customer to be 100% satisfied. You may make an exchange or receive store credit redeemable for other merchandise within ten days of original purchase. No refunds of any type will be given. ALL SALES FINAL ON HAIR AND MAKE UP BRUSHES AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS!

 

MISSED APPOINTMENT & CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations or reservation changes should be made at least 48 hours in advance in order to allow our team the opportunity to accommodate other guests. Cancellations made less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a charge of 50% of the service fee. No-show reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the service appointment and advanced scheduling may be denied or a deposit may be required for future appointments.

 

LATE ARRIVALS

We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, depending on circumstances, we may be forced to shorten or reschedule your service.

 

Clients who arrive late will be charged in full for their scheduled appointment, but may receive an abbreviated service. For example, if scheduled for a cut & style and arrive 15 minutes late, you will be charged for a cut with style but may not receive a blowout.

 

To ensure the promptness of all reservations we reserve the right to reschedule any reservation that is 15 minutes late or later

 

GIFT CARDS

No refunds will be given for gift card purchases. Gift cards are transferable to another recipient, unless specified otherwise.  Gift cards are good for the services specified on the card or it may be used for the original purchase value. Gratuities cannot be put on a gift card. Card must be presented for redemption.

 

PAYMENT

Payment for salon services is expected to be paid at the time of service. Hair Port accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, ApplePay, cash and checks

 

GRATUITIES

For your convenience technicians accept gratuities in the form of cash, check or debit card as well as other forms cashless tipping eg: Venmo & PayPal.

Sorry, no gratuities can be placed on a credit card.

 

CHILDREN

Hair Port welcomes all well-behaved children that have appointments. Please remind your children to avoid running, spinning or climbing on chairs, or opening any closed drawers in the space. Most drawers contain sharp objects and chemicals that could be potentially dangerous to unsuspecting children.

 

PETS & SMOKE FREE SALON

At Hair Port we strive to create an environment to further enhance the service experience of our clients.  We appreciate your cooperation as we maintain a pet free, smoke/vape free salon.

SALON SERVICE SATISFACTION

The employees at Hair Port Salon pride themselves in providing you with exceptional service and quality customer care. All of our technicians are professional, educated and experienced in order to provide you with the best service possible.

 

Consultations for all services are offered free of charge and are highly recommended for first time clients and for chemical services. 

We do not issue refunds on salon services. However, should you have any questions or concerns about the service you have received in the salon, please notify management within three days of your service.  At that time, we will make every effort to address your concerns to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the stylist who performed the initial service, or with a technician management deems suitable.

 

COLOR FORMULAS

All hair color formulas are the intellectual property of Hair Port Salon & cannot be given to our guests. If you are relocating outside of our serviceable area, a request from your new salon may be submitted to hairport.salon@gmail.com and we will try to accommodate them with the appropriate information.

 

MODEL SERVICES

Education is the heart of Hair Port Salon.  The incorporation of new minds ensures that Hair Port is continually infused with fresh ideas, therefore we take great pride in our Associate Program. We strive to create truly well-rounded stylists by providing both technical and customer service training. The associates are given the opportunity to hone their skills by scheduling models for appointments. To progress in the program, they must demonstrate their technical expertise with a variety of haircuts and color services. Ultimately, once associates have passed all the levels, they are given the opportunity to cut and color as “New Talent” and then as full Stylists at Hair Port Salon.

 

Appointments with associates always begin with a thorough consultation with the associate & an Educator. We ask you to keep an open mind and remember that this is a learning situation. All work is supervised, however results are not guaranteed. Because of the importance of this program, we encourage promptness and patience. All models are required to sign a model service release form.
